This is an optional course to help scholars prepare for sixth grade. Scholars will feel more confident and ready for the first day of 6th grade by learning valuable skills and becoming more familiar with the campus, as well as making friends before the first day of school.

Included in the two-day course:

locker and class transition practice
finding 6th grade classrooms
study skills
coping with anxiety
building friendships
learning problem-solving skills

Due to limited availability, we will be filling our available seats on a first come, first serve basis.

Scholars will be asked to observe all school rules during summer school, including abiding by the uniform dress code, and as always, behavioral issues are unacceptable. Scholars should arrive to school and enter through the south student Prep entrance 5-15 minutes before class starts and head straight to class. They will also be picked up from the south main entrance. Please bring a water bottle, and a snack if you wish. Snacks are allowed only at times and locations designated by instructor.

Communication: The front office has limited summer hours and may not be available to answer phone calls. Please communicate with your student's teacher through email.

Dress Code: Students must wear Trivium Prep school uniforms. All other policies regarding personal appearance as outlined in the Trivium Prep Family Handbook also apply.You can read the handbook here.

Pickup & Drop-Off: Scholars should arrive to school and enter through the south student Prep entrance (by the MPR) 5-15 minutes before class starts and head straight to class. They will also be picked up from the south entrance, within 15 minutes of the end of class. There are bike racks near the front office where students may lock bikes.

Medical: Students with allergies and/or medications, please reach out to our school nurse before May 20 with any allergy or medical information regarding your student and provide any medication (clearly labeled with name and instructions) prior to May 20. Please note that we will also consult the medical forms on file for any current Trivium Prep students regarding medical needs, if the need arises.

Payment and Refunds: Contact Ms. Bradshaw at [email protected] with questions about payment. There are no refunds after the first day of summer school classes. Classes will not be pro-rated due to absence.
